About our Retreat
Our intention for this program is to offer participants wishing to engage deeply and directly with shamanic practices, the opportunity to do so through immersive & experiential education. At Novalis, we have identified that there is a deep desire for westerners to make authentic connections to the world of Amazonian Shamanism. We believe in bridging knowledge gaps in order to receive a well-rounded perspective around such epistemologies.
This is a collaborative program led by our medicine team, indigenous unaya (Shipibo shaman), and members of neighboring native communities.
